General Maintenance Worker (Part-Time)

Location: Town Hall, 250 Coal Ave, Carbonado, WA
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (no benefits)
Closing Date: First round of interviews will be on 8/13/2026. Open until filled. May close at any time without notice.

Position Summary

The Town of Carbonado is seeking a reliable and motivated General Maintenance Worker to assist the Public Works Department. This position has the potential to become full-time based on the Town's needs.

Duties Include

• Mowing and weed trimming

• General landscape maintenance

• Assisting with water meter readings

• Painting and other maintenance tasks as assigned

• Watershed maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience operating lawn mowers and string trimmers (weed eaters).

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
